Bethanyism #7

It's Monday, which means it's time for another Bethanyism! 

Since it is still February, this weeks Bethanyism is following the theme of love. 

For those new readers, you can read this post for the explanation on what a Bethanyism is. I post a new one every Monday with the hope that they will inspire, make you think or spark some creativity, either in myself or others.

Dear Human: You've got it all wrong. You didn't come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you will return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of... messing up. Often. You didn't come here to be perfect. You already are. You came here to be gorgeously human. Flawed and fabulous. And then to rise again into remembering.

Another long quote, I know. But I love it! 

Love is such a powerful emotion. People fight for it, defend it, rebel against it, reject it and accept it. Love is never perfect. It is messy and passionate and crazy. It will make you laugh and make you cry. It will make you do stupid things and make the best decisions of your life.  It transcends time and even death. And in the end, when your time on earth is done, you will look back on your life and know that every time you loved, it was worth it.
