You Like Me, You Really Really Like Me!!!

I've been really busy this past week, and haven't been able to finish a single craft project, although I did start a few. I hate having half finished projects all over the place, but I'm still waiting for my stupid bobbins for my sewing machine to come in the mail, so things have been a little held up. I've kinda been feeling in a funk because I have so many things I want to get done, and not a lot of time to do any of it. I was about to give myself the following award:

Then I received an e-mail from the lovely Tracy at The 2010's Housewife. She awarded me the One  Lovely Blog Award!!!

So, to fulfill my obligation for accepting this award I need to do the following:

I was having a seriously crummy day and was in desperate need of a mood lifter when I got the wonderful email telling me that you thought I was lovely. It seriously made my day!

Next I'm supposed to write 7 facts about myself that nobody knows... that's gonna be kinda hard since I'm a pretty open book (and because a few of my friends are loyal readers) but here I go:

I LOVE shoes, but I hate my feet. I don't like people looking at them and I can't stand anyone touching them. Don't invite me along for pedicures, because I absolutely will not go.

. I was ready to get married about 7 years ago, Amazing Boyfriend wasn't... guess who won that round?

I was such a goodie-goodie when I graduated high school. I was a virgin, never drank or tried any drugs. My graduating class on the other hand...

I hate the color white. I hate white walls, white clothes and white cars. I feel like the world is meant to be colorful and that white is boring.

If I could live anywhere in the world, I would move to Ireland. I've never been there, but pictures I've seen of the country are beautiful and the people I've met from there are charming.

My favorite holiday is the 4th of July.

I've never been present when any of my nieces or nephew were born. I've always been at school, or work, or otherwise busy and gone to see them later. I still love each of them to pieces though!!!

And to fulfill the final part of accepting the One Lovely Blog award...

If it were up to me, everyone would get awards because I think every one of my followers are awesome and amazing. At least you all make me feel like I am. So thank you!!!!!

And to add just a little more cuteness to everyone's day...

My nephew, Jackson was born Tuesday, June 21st!!!

Welcome to the family, Jackson!!! It's a pretty good one to be born into, if I do say so myself!

  1. You are very, very welcome! Thank you for your kind remarks! I am so impressed by how supportive this blogging community is and am happy to have a new blog friend! Best wishes!

  2. Bethany - First: congratulations to you on your award! It is well deserved :). You are not alone - I repeat - you are not alone in your feelings of blog suckiness (which yours is far from)...I feel the same way some days and wish I had more time too. Second: thank you so much for the award! I am so very flattered that you would choose me for this and feel like I hit the jackpot because I made another friend in blog land. :)

    p.s. your nephew is adorable!

  3. Thank you so much for awarding me the lovey blog award and congrats on you receiving it as well!!!

  4. Thank you for the award Bethany!
love what you are doing and love reading about how ABF is doing.

  5. aww congrats & thanks! (I know, I'm slow -- okay, maybe I saw this yesterday but just didnt take the time say anything or whatnot.. SORRY!!)

7 yrs?! Holy cow. And cudos for you. Whip that boy into gear. 'A' was ready 6 months into our relationship. Back when I couldnt even say the "L" word. Now that I am ready, he wants to save up for a mortgage rather than spend on flowers and invites. Pshhh. Who does that.

We should totally get together for a pedicure some day ;) LOL.
