As much as I LOVE my wicked witch and her little monsters pillow cover, it felt silly to leave it on after Halloween was over (although I might have stretched it out a few days...) so I needed to come up with something new.
Doesn't it make you smile?
I love wordy pillows that serve as inspirational, wonderful reminders!
I used DecoArt Dazzling Metallics paint and fabric paint medium to paint the phrase and heart onto canvas drop cloth material. I used autumn colored material to frame the panel, and the back is also drop cloth material using the envelope enclosure, which is my favorite way to make a pillow!
I'm so pleased with how this pillow turned out, especially since my first attempt at stenciling the words bled so badly I had to throw it out and start again from scratch. Lucky for me, I still had plenty of drop cloth material left on hand to cut another piece and start over again.
Just another thing to be thankful for I guess!!!
