Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates...

Sorry, couldn't resist such a catchy blog post title opportunity.

Last week, I was going through link parties and found the cutest ring holder made out of a cigar box that Ali from Found in the "Ali" shared. She even had a tutorial on how to make it, which was awesome and so easy to follow.

Of course, I wanted to copy her genius, but I didn't have a cigar box. But I did have a chocolate box...

So I took my chocolate box, some foam, fabric and hot glue and made this...

Awesome, right?

The best part is that I had all the supplies already (thank you Mom for all the random craft supplies you send my way), so this project was FREE! I don't know about you, but I love free.

I'm sharing this post at the following link parties:

  1. Free IS good. And this is extremely cute.

At first, I was thinking "box of chocolate?! No way she can make a box of chocolate more awesome than its original purpose" ...

Rings. The only thing better than chocolate.

  2. I've always loved these boxes! No matter what's inside, it's a treasure! Thank you for linking to Wicked Awesome Wednesday!

  4. so fun! these boxes are good for so many things! we use them for our craft storage!

  5. Perfect! Everything's better in a box of chocolate :)

  6. That's a great idea! You could even paper the outside to make it look different if you get bored of the chocolate box look. :)

  7. Hi Bethany - visiting from the hop and am your Newest Follower!

Nice to meet you - great idea for the ring box - and good idea to use a candy box-we all can get one of those! I might decoupage mine! Thanks so much for such a great, economical way to store rings (and other jewelry!)

    Best Wishes!

  8. What a great ring holder. If you get a chance I would love you to link your chocolate box ring holder up to More the Merrier Monday. It lasts through Wednesday so you have plenty of time to stop by. See you there. http://diyhshp.blogspot.com/

  9. This post made me smile. Thanks for inspiring me and many others to even attempt this feat. Really appreciate that you linked up at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop.
